Is the Massachusetts a worthy ship? Read more to get my thoughts on it.
The Massachusetts was released back in 2018. She was the second South Dakota-class battleship to arrive in World of Warships. Her main feature, is her Secondaries. The U.S. Battleship Tech Tree is not renown for Secondaries (unless its the Georgia/T9 or Ohio/T10). So to have the Massachusetts's secondaries at Tier 8, is sublime.
Massachusetts VIII BB

So like I mentioned before, is her Secondaries. She has x10 127mm batteries with a default range of 7.5km, but with Commander Skills, and Signals, you can boost it up to 11.3km. A perfect range to engage enemies in. Saying that, a negative point about the Massachusetts is her sigma value, which is less superior to her sister (Alabama). So this is why a relatively close-combat experience is what's needed. But we end on a positive, her AA Defense. Far more superior than her sister. So air attacks are a walk in the park for her (if it's a Tier VI or VIII CV).
All-in-all, the Massachusetts is a brawler and will do the dirty work for you in short-to-medium engagements.
